Warranty and Covered Equipment
Each installed surge protector includes a 3-year, $10,000 appliance warranty in the unlikely event of failure. All claims are secondary to your existing insurance policy, and direct lightning strikes are excluded.
“Covered Equipment” means and includes the following items, when protected with a properly connected Boltshield SPD:
- Washer and dryer
- Refrigerator and freezer
- HVAC unit located inside the house
- Trash compactor and dishwasher
- Garbage disposal
- Stove, and a stove with a built-in microwave oven
Not included: Security systems and medical equipment are specifically excluded from Covered Equipment.
