Scope of work
- Installed (4) 6-inch wafer recessed lights for even, glare-controlled general lighting with a low-profile finish ideal for finished ceilings.
- Wired for a center light to provide balanced illumination and future-ready placement for a primary fixture.
- Supplied and installed 110 feet of LED tape to deliver continuous, efficient accent lighting across the space.
- Provided (10) transformers matched to the LED tape system for proper, reliable low-voltage power conversion.
- Wired (8) outlets dedicated to the LED lighting transformers for a tidy, serviceable setup.
- Raised two switches and lowered two outlets to meet the project’s finished height targets and improve usability.
- Removed one old switch leg to eliminate obsolete wiring and simplify the control layout.
- Installed one standard duplex outlet with a clean, finished appearance to support general-purpose needs.
- Removed loose wires in a closet and safely junctioned them in the attic, improving safety and serviceability.
Clean, safe, and code-conscious wiring
Our electricians used appropriate NM-B wiring (14/2 and 14/3 where needed) and properly protected junctions to maintain a safe, code-conscious installation. By relocating controls and receptacles to their final heights, we ensured a polished look that complements the remodel. All new devices and terminations were neatly made, tested, and organized so future service is straightforward.
The LED tape and transformer layout was designed for consistent illumination and easy access to power points, helping reduce clutter and simplifying maintenance. Removing old switch legs and unnecessary wiring also eliminated confusion and reduced potential points of failure.
