On February 3, 2025, lead electrician Ben Lively and a support wireman installed three smart switches and safely mounted a customer‑supplied light fixture on a 14–18 ft ceiling. The result is modern, reliable lighting control with professional workmanship and a clean finish.

Scope of work
- 3× Smart switch installations: Replaced existing controls with smart switches compatible with 2‑way, 3‑way, and 4‑way configurations. These controls enable app, voice, and schedule‑based operation through platforms like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit, helping improve energy management and security while keeping traditional wall control intact.
- High‑ceiling light fixture installation (14–18 ft): Safely mounted a customer‑provided fixture to the existing ceiling box and circuit. Our two‑person crew used an oversized ladder and high‑reach methods to secure the fixture, complete terminations, and verify stable support and proper operation.
- Wireman/apprentice support: An additional electrician assisted with ladder handling, fixture alignment, and safety checks to ensure an efficient and secure installation at height.
