Power and Wiring, Done Right
To support simultaneous operation of multiple exterior lights and smart doorbells, we installed a dedicated 15-amp branch circuit from the panel and clearly labeled it for future reference. New 14/2 NM-B wiring was routed, secured, and protected to meet current electrical standards. This approach helps prevent nuisance tripping, ensures dependable performance, and keeps the home’s existing circuits from being overloaded.
We tested voltage and continuity at every device location, verified correct breaker function, and confirmed proper grounding and bonding. The result is a clean, organized installation that looks great and performs safely.
Smart Doorbell Setup with Individual Transformers
Each Ring doorbell received its own transformer to deliver the correct low-voltage power and maintain stable performance. By separating the power supplies, we reduce potential interference between devices and support consistent operation for video, motion alerts, and chime functions. All connections were neatly terminated, secured in appropriate enclosures, and checked before final commissioning.
