Handled by our Charlotte branch team based in Matthews, this project modernized key living spaces with efficient recessed lighting, new fixtures, upgraded switching, and safety improvements. Project Overview

This Lighting & Ceiling Fans project focused on clean, even illumination, convenient controls, and code-compliant wiring. The customer provided the can lights and dimmer switches, and our team handled installation, wiring, and fixture placement to achieve a polished, cohesive look throughout the home.

• 22 recessed can lights installed throughout the home, including living areas and closets.
• 3 pendants installed over the kitchen island for task and accent lighting.
• Ceiling fans installed in bedrooms for comfort and air circulation.
• Chandelier added for a statement centerpiece.
• Two can lights in each bedroom closet to improve storage visibility.
• Six candle lights installed in two rows of three as specified.
• 3-way switching added where applicable, including in the living room for multi-location control.
• 110V outlet for a gas dryer added on an appropriate circuit.
• Hardwired security camera floodlight combos (x2) installed for exterior safety and monitoring.

Electrical Improvements and Safety Upgrades

Along with fixture installations, we completed targeted wiring updates and safety tasks to support reliability and code compliance in this Mooresville home.

• Rewired touched switch locations to include a ground conductor for improved safety.
• Relocated select switch boxes, removed outdated boxes, and set new boxes to suit the updated layout and fixtures.
• Secured loose attic wiring inside junction boxes with proper covers for protection and code compliance.
• Installed a bell box to protect an exposed backyard wire.
• Inspected branch circuits to verify safe connections and proper load considerations.

New wiring runs utilized NM-B Romex 14/2 and 14/3 cable as appropriate for lighting circuits and multi-way switching, ensuring dependable performance and clean terminations.
