Whole-Home Decorative Outlet & Switch Replacement in Raleigh, NC
On February 17, 2025, our Raleigh team completed a whole-home decorative outlet and switch replacement for Nancy Campbell & Erik Lash. This project modernized a 1,190 sq ft home with new tamper-resistant receptacles, updated switches, and clean, matching wall plates—delivering a safer, more cohesive look throughout.
Serviced by Cody Perry from our Raleigh branch, the job was scheduled sight-unseen based on the homeowner’s square-footage estimate, then executed with careful planning, tidy workmanship, and thorough testing.
Scope of Work
- Replaced all standard receptacles with decorative, tamper-resistant devices (rectangular style)
- Upgraded GFCI receptacles in required areas to matching decorative style
- Replaced all light switches to match the new decorative profile
- Installed jumbo wall plates for a consistent, finished appearance
- Tested function and safety of each device after installation
- Exclusions: 220V (range, dryer, etc.) receptacles were not included in this scope
