For this Raleigh home, we installed a new 15-amp outlet on a 14/2 NM-B cable run to serve the dehumidifier only. What We Did

- Outlet installation: Installed and terminated a 15-amp receptacle at the chosen location to serve the dehumidifier.
- Safety and performance testing: Verified correct polarity and grounding, confirmed voltage at the receptacle, and checked the outlet under load to ensure dependable operation.
- Clean finish: Final walkthrough and homeowner guidance on using the new dedicated outlet.
