- 200A main panel replacement (indoor, aluminum bus): The new panel was brought to the current electrical code, including grounding and bonding. We replaced the panel and main lugs, labeled all circuits, reconnected the service entrance cable, and reconnected existing branch circuits.
- Whole-home surge protection: Installed a protector with a $10,000/3-year warranty to help defend appliances and electronics from damaging voltage spikes.
- Breaker updates for function and safety:
- 1 × 100A (2-pole) for a subpanel
- 1 × 40A standard (typical for dryer, water heater, condenser, spa, EV charger, etc.)
- 3 × 30A standard double-pole
- 10 × 20A standard (small appliance/general circuits)
- 3 × 15A standard (lighting and branch circuits)
- 2 × 20A GFCI (bathrooms, laundry, garage, exterior, crawl spaces, basements)
- Grounding system enhancement: Installed new ground rods and connected a #4 bare grounding wire to the main service panel for a robust grounding electrode system.
- Limited power during outage: While power was disconnected for the changeover, our team made a generator available for limited power usage.
