Outlet Relocation and Bathroom Lighting in Indian Trail, NC
Touchstone Electric completed a residential electrical update for Chris Cavallo in Indian Trail, NC. The project focused on improving the placement of existing-use receptacles in a butler’s pantry and laundry room while adding efficient lighting to the bathroom. These targeted upgrades can make everyday spaces more practical, better illuminated, and easier to use.
Our Charlotte branch provided the service, with technician Mark Alaev completing the work. From careful outlet positioning to integrating new bathroom lighting with the existing fan connection, the project was completed with attention to the homeowner’s requested layout and functionality.
Updated Outlet Placement for Pantry and Laundry Areas
Conveniently located outlets are important in rooms where homeowners use small appliances, chargers, cleaning equipment, and other electrical devices. For this Indian Trail home, our team installed two standard receptacles with covers and adjusted their locations to better suit the space.
- Butler’s pantry outlet: Added and positioned below the desk area for more practical access.
- Laundry room outlet: Added and moved to the right by approximately 20 inches to improve placement within the room.
Outlet relocation and installation can be a useful solution when a room’s layout changes, cabinetry is updated, or an existing receptacle location is inconvenient. Touchstone Electric helps homeowners throughout the Indian Trail service area make electrical access work better for how they use their homes.
Bathroom Wafer Light Installation
In addition to the outlet updates, we installed a wafer-style can light in the bathroom. Wafer lights are designed with a slim profile, making them well suited for spaces where ceiling clearance may be limited. They also provide a clean, recessed appearance while delivering useful overhead illumination.
The new bathroom light was tied in with the bath fan connection, allowing the homeowner to operate the lighting as part of the bathroom’s existing setup. Improved bathroom lighting can make daily routines more comfortable and can help brighten a space that may not receive much natural light.
