The customer planned to mount a TV in an office room and needed a dedicated outlet placed directly behind the screen for a streamlined look. We tapped power from the existing two-gang duplex located below the TV location, then extended the circuit to a new, standard receptacle positioned at the proper mounting height.

What we installed

Standard receptacle: A new outlet with a matching cover plate installed behind the TV for a clean, professional finish.
12/2 NM-B cable: Approximately six feet of 12/2 NM-B Romex to extend the existing branch circuit safely and neatly within the wall cavity.
Secure, code-conscious routing: Cable runs and device terminations completed to meet current electrical standards and best practices.

This approach eliminates dangling cords, reduces trip hazards, and ensures the TV and related devices have a reliable power source where it’s needed most.
