Touchstone Electric’s Raleigh branch completed a clean, code-compliant circuit addition and breaker replacement for Ground Works - Raleigh in Garner, NC. The scope included running new 3/4" PVC conduit, pulling THHN #12 conductors for a 20-amp branch circuit to support kitchen power needs, and installing a 15-amp tandem breaker in the existing panel. Completed on June 11, 2026, this upgrade improves safety, capacity, and long-term reliability for everyday use.
What we did
- Installed 3/4" PVC conduit (approx. 25 ft): Mounted with appropriate fittings, connectors, and LBs to provide a protected pathway for conductors and a tidy, durable installation.
- Pulled THHN #12 copper (approx. 30 ft, 3–4 conductors): Sized for a 20-amp branch circuit, well suited for kitchen circuits and other higher-demand general-purpose loads.
- Reconfigured the panel with a 15A tandem breaker: Added a standard branch circuit using a tandem device to optimize panel space while maintaining code-compliant protection.
