Touchstone Electric’s Raleigh branch completed a specialty pool electrical project in Winston-Salem, NC for Ivy Creek Pools. On 2026-04-23, our technician Cody Perry installed an equipotential bonding system and grounded all pool equipment to meet the safety and performance requirements of NEC 680.26. A county electrical permit was filed and closed per local jurisdictional procedures.

Scope of work completed
- Installed a continuous #8 bare copper bonding halo (equipotential bonding conductor) around the pool per NEC 680.26.
- Connected the bonding grid to the designated ground lug on pool equipment as required by code.
- Grounded all pool equipment to establish a safe and reliable fault-clearing path.
- Filed and managed the county electrical permit for this scope of work.
