Project Overview

The existing service riser was leaning and the customer’s meter base required replacement to maintain safety and reliability. Our licensed electricians removed the old components, installed a new meter base and riser, and brought the grounding system up to current code. After securing the electrical service, we refreshed lighting throughout key areas of the home and added multiple ceiling fans for better airflow.

Scope of Work

Service equipment: Removed the leaning riser and replaced it with a new, properly supported riser.
Meter base: Installed a new meter base to ensure safe, dependable service entry and utility interface.
Grounding system: Installed a new, code-compliant grounding system to improve fault protection and overall system safety.
Permitting & inspection: Managed the electrical permit process and coordinated inspection to verify compliance with local codes.
Lighting upgrades: Replaced four outdated light fixtures with new fixtures selected by the homeowner for improved aesthetics and performance.
Ceiling fans: Installed five ceiling fans to enhance comfort and circulation throughout the home.
Blanked-off box: Safely blanked off one unused box with a cover plate where a light was no longer desired.
Wafer lighting: Converted two recessed can trims and bulbs to modern wafer light trims and added one additional wafer light in the hallway for balanced, even illumination.
Garage lighting: Tied into the existing garage light circuit and installed a basic customer-provided light fixture.
