This multi-area lighting and power upgrade focused on better illumination, improved controls, and tidier cable management. The team used a mix of standard and wafer-style recessed fixtures to match ceiling conditions, installed customer-supplied track lighting and a chandelier, and provided reliable power where it was needed most—without unnecessary drywall cuts.
Scope of work completed
- Recessed can lights (5 total): Four new can lights in the sanctuary for even, glare-controlled lighting and one new can light in the hallway for safer, brighter passage.
- Dedicated switch for accent lighting: Added a new switch to control two accent lights over the flower display for flexible scene setting.
- Track lighting installation: Installed customer-supplied track lighting in the sanctuary to highlight focal areas and provide adjustable beam direction.
- Exterior chandelier replacement: Swapped the existing outside chandelier with a customer-supplied fixture and paired it with a digital timer switch for automated on/off scheduling and a “random” mode for lived-in appearance.
- LED bypass for office lighting: Converted eight fixtures to direct-wire LED by bypassing old ballasts for better efficiency, fewer maintenance issues, and instant-on performance.
- New outlets: Installed a quad outlet under the desk for equipment, one outlet by the entrance for convenience, and a dedicated outlet for the camera system.
- Camera power and cable concealment: Provided a new power outlet and routed camera wiring behind the wall—completed without drywall cutting for a clean, professional look.
- Exterior wall pack lights: Installed two wall packs on the building exterior to boost perimeter visibility and security.

- Right fixture for the space: A blend of standard cans and low-profile wafer cans ensured proper placement without compromising structure.
- Durable wiring: New 20-amp MC 12/2 conductors were used as needed to support circuits safely and neatly.
- Smarter controls: The digital timer switch includes daylight-savings auto-adjust and a randomized mode, making exterior lighting more secure and energy aware.
- Cleaner finishes: Cable concealment and strategic access points kept finishes intact and reduced patch-and-paint needs.
