- Wafer Can Light Install: Low-profile, long-lasting wafer can light installed where space is limited. This fixture was added to an existing circuit without running new wire.
- Ceiling Fan Installation: Customer-supplied ceiling fan installed on an existing rated box/circuit to improve airflow and comfort.
- Bathroom Exhaust Fan: Removed the old housing, cut drywall as needed, reworked the duct connection, and tied into the existing power source. (No new power run or full duct replacement included.)
- GFCI Receptacle: Installed a new GFCI outlet with cover for added protection in a moisture-prone area, using the existing circuit.
- Standard Switches: Replaced/installed multiple standard switches (2-way/3-way/4-way as applicable) for convenient lighting and fan control.
- NM-B 12/2 Wiring (35 ft): Provided code-compliant 12/2 Romex for 20-amp tie-ins and routing needs. Junction boxes included as required; no new breaker or additional devices included.
- Electrical Permit: Filed and managed the county electrical permit specific to the scope of work.
Safety, code, and permitting notes
Before starting work, we required a signed liability waiver due to the home’s existing Challenger electrical panel. When legacy or specialty equipment is present, we take extra care to document conditions and discuss safe, code-compliant options with the customer.
Our permit covered the electrical scope only. Other jurisdictional permits—such as Historic Preservation, Environmental/Septic, Zoning, or general building permits—are not included. If additional non-electrical permits are discovered to be necessary, we’ll outline next steps for the customer and can provide pricing to assist with processing upon request.
