Our Raleigh branch completed a multi-room lighting and comfort upgrade for homeowner Courtney Barrett in Wake Forest, NC. On June 21, 2024, our licensed electricians, Man Linabarger and Patrick Burke, installed a living room ceiling fan, a foyer chandelier, motion-activated floodlight cameras, new CO/smoke detection in the first-floor hall, a front camera, and a bathroom exhaust fan. All fixtures were customer supplied and installed on existing boxes/circuits where applicable.

Project Highlights
- Living Room Ceiling Fan: Installed a customer-supplied fan on the existing box/circuit and added a remote kit for convenient control. High-ceiling access required a 16’ ladder.
- Foyer Chandelier: Replaced the existing fixture with a new customer-supplied chandelier. The foyer’s height required a 16’ ladder for safe, precise installation.
- Additional Interior Fixture: Installed another medium fixture on an existing box using a 4–6’ ladder where appropriate.
- Motion Floodlight Cameras: Mounted three customer-provided units—two covering the backyard and one for the driveway. Installation required 16’ extension ladder access and careful aiming for coverage.
- Front-Facing Camera: Installed a customer-supplied camera at the front of the home for added visibility at the entry.
- CO/Smoke Detection: Replaced/installed a combined CO and smoke detector in the first-floor hall to improve safety alerts.
- Bathroom Exhaust Fan: Replaced the bathroom fan to help remove humidity and odors more effectively.
- Annual Home Safety Membership – Gold: Performed a safety check that included smoke/CO detector review, panel safety check, code updates, and inspection of loose/worn connections with sealed connectors where needed.
