On May 12, 2026, our technician Tyquan Johnson installed customer-supplied ceiling fans and bathroom exhaust fans, added dimmer and standard switches, updated outlets, relocated light boxes for better fixture placement, and handled the electrical permit to keep everything compliant and stress-free.

What We Installed

3 Bathroom Exhaust Fans: Removed the old housings, made clean drywall cuts as needed, reworked the existing duct connections, and tied into the existing power source. Customer supplied the fan units; no new power runs or duct replacements were included.
3 Ceiling Fans/Light Fixtures: Installed customer-supplied fixtures on existing boxes and circuits for a safe, reliable upgrade without adding new wiring.
3 Dimmer Switches: Installed dimmers compatible with 2-, 3-, or 4-way configurations to help fine-tune lighting levels and comfort.
3 Standard Switches: Replaced/installed switches for dependable control of lights and fixtures using existing wiring.
3 Standard Outlets: Installed new receptacles with covers for everyday convenience and code-conscious performance.
2 Light Box Relocations: Moved two light boxes to improve fixture alignment and room layout.
Nickel Cover Plates: Upgraded all visible switch and outlet covers to a clean, modern nickel finish for a cohesive look.

This scope focused on improving comfort, airflow, and lighting control while maintaining existing circuits and boxes wherever appropriate.

Permits and Code Compliance

To keep the project on track and compliant, we filed the electrical permit with the county. Please note: this permit covers electrical scope only. Depending on jurisdiction and project type, additional non-electrical permits (such as Historic Preservation, Environmental/Septic, Zoning, Builders, or separate subcontractor permits) may be required but are not included. If other permits are needed, we’ll advise you on what to handle directly and can provide pricing for any additional filing services upon request.
