What we installed
This outdoor Level 2 charging solution centers on a NEMA 14-50 receptacle securely mounted in a suitable weather-resistant enclosure and protected by an in-use bubble cover. We added a new, appropriately sized breaker and routed a dedicated feeder from the electrical panel to the receptacle location. Creating a dedicated circuit for EV charging helps deliver consistent performance and reduces the chance of nuisance trips from shared loads.
Once the materials were set, Bob completed all terminations, performed functional checks, and labeled the new circuit for clarity. The result is a tidy, code-conscious installation that’s ready for a compatible Level 2 EV charger and designed for everyday convenience.
