Completed on July 3, 2026, this project delivered a safe, code-compliant 240V charging solution that meets utility rebate requirements and sets the homeowner up for faster, more convenient charging at home.

What We Installed

This Level 2 setup was designed for reliability, performance, and future rebate eligibility. Key elements included:

• Permit handled and inspection coordination with the local authority to ensure full compliance.
• Dedicated 240V, 50-amp circuit added at the main electrical panel using a new two-pole 50A breaker.
• 6/3 NM-B copper wiring run from the panel to the charger location to support continuous Level 2 charging loads.
• PVC conduit used where required to protect and route wiring neatly and to code.
• Customer-supplied EV charger connected per manufacturer specifications (hardwired or receptacle-based as appropriate).
• Labeling, torque verification, and final testing to confirm proper voltage, secure terminations, and safe operation.
