Touchstone Electric’s Charlotte team completed a Level 2 EV charger installation for Carlton Philips in Charlotte, NC on February 25, 2026. Led by technician Christian Cedillos from our Matthews branch, we installed a dedicated 60A circuit to power the customer-supplied charger, delivering fast, reliable home charging that meets current electrical codes and local permitting requirements.
What we installed
- Dedicated 60A circuit sized for a Level 2 EV charger
- 60A standard breaker installed in the customer’s panel
- 40 ft of #6 SEU (3-wire) feeder to supply the new circuit
- Connection for the customer-supplied EV charger (hardwired or receptacle as appropriate to the unit)
- County electrical permit filed for a code-compliant installation
