Project overview
Our Raleigh branch completed a Level 2 EV charger installation for QUAKER Harmon in Carrboro, NC on February 16, 2026. Led by technician Matthew Castello, this project included permitting, a dedicated 60-amp circuit, THHN wiring in liquidtight conduit, and a whole-home surge protection upgrade for a safe, code-compliant setup.

What we installed
- Level 2 EV charger (customer-supplied), installed and commissioned to manufacturer specifications.
- Dedicated 240V, 60A circuit with a new 60-amp breaker sized for Level 2 charging performance and safety.
- Approximately 50 ft of THHN #6 conductors (3–4 strand as required) to support the 60-amp load with proper ampacity.
- 45 ft of 3/4-inch liquidtight flexible conduit, including connectors, supports, and fittings for a neat, durable installation.
- Whole-home surge protection system with a $100K/10-year (warranty) to help safeguard appliances and electronics from power surges.

Permitting and code compliance
