Code-compliant installation from panel to charger
To support Level 2 charging, our team installed a 60A circuit breaker on the home’s electrical panel and used THHN #6 conductors to meet capacity and thermal requirements for EV charging. We routed the wiring in 3/4 in. PVC conduit, securely mounted with the appropriate connectors and junction fittings to protect the conductors and keep the run neat, accessible, and compliant with local codes.
Every connection was tightened and torqued to manufacturer specs, and labeling was applied for clear identification at the panel. The layout was designed for a practical charging cable reach, minimizing bends and keeping the run efficient and serviceable.
