Project overview: Level 2 EV charger installation in Charlotte, NC
Our Charlotte team completed a customer-supplied Level 2 EV charger installation for Duke Energy - Allumia on April 2, 2026. Led by technician Cash Divver, this project added a dedicated 60-amp circuit to support reliable, fast Level 2 charging at a residential property in the greater Charlotte area.
To ensure a clean, code-compliant setup, we installed a new 60A breaker, ran SEU #6 (three-conductor) wiring in protective conduit, and handled permitting and inspection coordination. The installation was designed to be Duke Energy rebate–ready, helping the customer take advantage of available incentives for EV charging upgrades in North Carolina.
