Touchstone Electric’s Charlotte team completed a professional Level 2 EV charging setup for Duke Energy – Allumia on August 19, 2024. Led by technician Ben Lively from our Charlotte (Matthews) branch, this project ensures safe, reliable 240V charging at their Charlotte, NC location.

The scope included a new 50-amp receptacle installed neatly below the electrical panel and a dedicated 60-amp breaker to support a high-capacity Level 2 charger. The installation was fully permitted and performed to current electrical code standards.
