Project overview
Touchstone Electric’s Charlotte team, operating from our Matthews branch, completed a Lighting & Ceiling Fans project in Waxhaw, NC for Ivy Creek Pools on November 23, 2025. Led by technician Chris Rogers, the scope focused on modern, energy-efficient lighting, clean fan installations, and code-minded safety upgrades that enhance comfort and reliability.
Scope of work completed
- 16 customer-supplied LED wafer recessed lights installed for low-profile, even illumination in tight or shallow ceiling spaces.
- 2 customer-supplied ceiling fans mounted on existing boxes/circuits for improved air circulation and comfort.
- Switching and controls: one standard fan switch plus a customer-supplied dimmer for adjustable lighting levels.
- Square D QO breakers: one 20A breaker dedicated to outlets and one 15A breaker serving the lights and fans.
- Five receptacles: weather-resistant/tamper-resistant (WR/TR) outlets, including one GFCI for added shock protection.
- UF cable routed to support the required circuits and dependable power delivery.
An electrical apprentice supported the installation under supervision to ensure efficiency and attention to detail throughout the project.
