LED Wafer Can Light & Vanity Lighting + Outlet Install in Mooresville

Touchstone Electric recently completed a clean, modern lighting update for a home in Mooresville, NC. Led by technician Ben Lively from our Charlotte branch in Matthews, this project focused on efficient Lighting & Ceiling Fans work with a strong emphasis on professional Lighting Installation. Completed on July 17, 2024, the scope included new LED wafer can lights, a standard receptacle, strategic vanity light box relocation, and new NM-B wiring for a tidy, reliable finish.

Project overview

Our customer, Jon Sill, wanted an updated look with even illumination and practical power access. We installed eight low-profile LED wafer can lights that deliver balanced light while fitting neatly into tight ceiling spaces. We also added a standard outlet and adjusted vanity light box locations to better align with the bathroom layout. To support these updates, our team ran new 14/2 NM-B wiring where needed.

What we installed

8x Fixture Install (Can Light – Wafer): Included the wafer can lights and professional installation. These fixtures are designed to last longer and fit in narrow spaces. Note: this fixture install did not include a new circuit or wire as part of the fixture line item.
1x Receptacle – Standard Outlet: Included the receptacle, cover, and installation for added convenience. Note: this line item did not include a new circuit, conduit, or related materials.
20 ft Wire – NM-B Romex 14/2: Ideal for 15‑amp lighting and general‑purpose outlets. This item included the cost of any needed junction box. It did not include a breaker or additional device installs beyond those listed above.
Custom Task – Remove and Move Boxes for Vanity Lights: We carefully removed existing vanity light boxes and relocated them to achieve improved alignment and a cleaner bathroom lighting layout.
