Touchstone Electric completed a detailed kitchen electrical project for The Stone Group in Kannapolis. The work combined new lighting installation with dedicated appliance circuits to support a more functional kitchen layout. Our Charlotte team installed recessed wafer lighting, customer-supplied pendant fixtures, new light boxes, switches, appliance outlets, and wiring for multiple kitchen circuits.

Recessed and Pendant Lighting Installation
For bright, streamlined overhead illumination, our electricians installed and supplied 10 6-inch recessed wafer lights. Wafer-style recessed lights are a practical option for kitchens because their low-profile design can work well in narrower ceiling spaces while delivering broad, even light across food-prep and gathering areas.
We also installed two customer-supplied pendant lights. Pendant fixtures can add focused task lighting and visual interest over an island, counter, or dining area. The project included new light boxes and wiring as needed, along with switches for the kitchen lighting and dishwasher connection.

Along with the lighting upgrades, Touchstone Electric installed dedicated circuits for several important kitchen appliances and outlet locations. The completed electrical work included a new 50-amp circuit for the range and a range outlet installation. Our team also installed a new 20-amp circuit for the microwave, a new 20-amp circuit for the refrigerator, and a new 20-amp circuit serving the coffee maker, counter outlet, and island outlet. A new dishwasher circuit was supplied and installed as part of the project.
