Led by technician Briar Davis, this code-compliant installation was finished on June 3, 2024, and included permitting, a dedicated 60A breaker, new conduit, and panel updates to support the customer’s spa safely and reliably.
Scope of Work
- Electrical permit: Filed with the county and coordinated the required inspections to ensure full compliance.
- Indoor spa connection: Professionally wired the customer-supplied spa in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local code.
- 60A breaker installation: Added a dedicated 60-amp standard breaker to supply the spa with the correct capacity and clear labeling at the service panel.
- Conduit and conductors: Ran 1" PVC conduit and pulled THHN conductors, including #4 THHN as applicable, to protect and route the spa’s feeder neatly and safely.
- Panel optimization for code: Installed two 15A tandem breakers to provide proper bathroom lighting and standard branch circuits in alignment with current code while maintaining panel space.
Every step was performed to meet current electrical standards, with a permitted process and scheduled inspections to verify safety for long-term spa use.
