Project Scope and What We Installed
Per the contractor’s specifications, we supplied and installed dedicated power for two HVAC systems with properly matched overcurrent protection and outdoor service disconnects. Key components included:
- Two ≤60A pull‑out equipment disconnects for safe isolation of each HVAC unit during service.
- One 25A double‑pole breaker to protect a small condenser/mini‑split load.
- One 40A double‑pole breaker for a higher‑demand condenser or air‑handling equipment.
- New branch‑circuit wiring using NM‑B 10/3 and NM‑B 8/3 cable, appropriately sized and routed for the dedicated 240V HVAC circuits.
- Electrical permit filing with the county for this scope of work.
In addition to the HVAC circuits and disconnects, our crew also hooked up two customer‑supplied HVAC appliances and replaced three bathroom exhaust fans. For each fan, we removed the old housing, made the necessary drywall and duct adjustments, and tied into the existing power, per the project scope.
