Touchstone Electric completed a clean, safe hallway lighting upgrade for MUSE Residential in Charlotte, NC. Our Charlotte team, operating from the Matthews branch, removed an existing wafer-style ceiling light and installed a stylish hanging pendant to elevate the look and function of the space. The work was performed by Danny Bishop and completed on December 5, 2025.

Scope of work

• Safely de-energized the hallway circuit and verified power-off before work began.
• Carefully removed the existing wafer light and inspected the ceiling opening and wiring.
• Installed a code-compliant ceiling junction box and secure mounting hardware suitable for a hanging fixture.
• Assembled and hung the new pendant, adjusted the drop length for comfortable head clearance, and leveled the canopy.
• Made neat, secure terminations, verified grounding and polarity, and tested the switch/dimmer for smooth operation.
• Final quality check for flicker, brightness, and even light spread; cleaned the work area before departing.
