What we fixed and why it matters
The original inspection note called for sealing the raceway where it transitions from the exterior into the home’s thermal boundary (crawlspace). NEC 300.7 requires sealing raceways that pass between areas with different temperatures to reduce moisture migration and condensation inside the conduit, which can lead to corrosion and electrical hazards. Our team sealed the penetration to protect the system and support a clean re-inspection.
