- 9 × 15A standard breakers (bathroom lighting and standard branch circuits, aligned with 2020 code updates).
- Whole-home surge protector with $10,000 equipment coverage for 3 years per manufacturer terms, helping shield your home’s electrical system and connected devices from voltage spikes.
Scope note: The selected subpanel option includes permitting. It does not include conduit/feeder/trenching or a separate grounding system for detached structures.

This installation includes a manufacturer-backed $10,000 / 3-year equipment coverage benefit in the unlikely event of protector failure. All claims are secondary to your existing insurance and direct lightning strikes are excluded. Security systems and medical equipment are excluded. Examples of covered equipment (per manufacturer terms) may include: washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, interior HVAC equipment, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, wiring, outlets/switches, electrical system components, and many hard-wired appliances such as built-in microwaves, furnaces, air handlers, evaporator coils, ranges, select lighting, and landscape lighting.
Code Compliance and AFCI Considerations
As local inspectors continue implementing NEC 2020, some homes may require upgrades to AFCI breakers on certain circuits. In older wiring systems, preexisting conditions—such as shared neutrals—can cause immediate tripping when AFCI protection is added. When this occurs, diagnosing and correcting the issue may require additional time to trace and separate affected circuits. Our Raleigh team evaluates these requirements during permitting and inspection to keep your Wake Forest project compliant and safe.
