We replaced the main electrical panel and brought the installation up to current code. The new panel features an aluminum bus and includes a 20-year transferable manufacturer warranty on the panel, in addition to our craftsmanship coverage.
Our scope included labeling circuits, grounding and bonding, reconnecting the service entrance conductors, and neatly re-terminating existing branch circuits. During the upgrade process, we also evaluate requirements such as AFCI/GFCI protection under current code and discuss any recommended breaker updates with the homeowner.
Whole-Home Surge Protection: $50K/10-Year Coverage
To protect the entire electrical system, we installed a panel-mounted surge protective device designed to divert damaging voltage to ground before it reaches sensitive equipment. This system includes $50,000 of coverage over 10 years for protected appliances and hardwired equipment, providing valuable peace of mind for the homeowner.
