On December 9, 2025, our technician Chris Rogers corrected unsafe neutral terminations inside the electrical panel, added a new grounding bar, ran NM-B 14/2 cable, and installed a standard outlet with a clean, finished cover. This visit was handled by our Charlotte team based in Matthews and focused on delivering safe, code-aligned power where it was needed.
What We Corrected Inside the Electrical Panel
We found double-tapped neutrals, which is when multiple conductors share a terminal designed for a single conductor. This condition can lead to loose connections, overheating, and nuisance issues over time. To correct it, we installed a new ground bar and separated the conductors so each neutral has its own proper termination and the equipment grounding conductors land on the dedicated grounding bar.
The result is a neater, safer panel that aligns with manufacturer requirements and modern wiring standards. Separating neutrals and grounds the right way improves reliability and makes any future maintenance or troubleshooting more straightforward.
Safe, Code-Ready Wiring and a New Standard Outlet
To supply dependable power where the customer needed it, we installed a standard receptacle (with cover) and ran NM-B Romex 14/2 cable on a 15‑amp general-purpose circuit. This work included the cost of any needed junction box for a tidy, serviceable installation.
