Our Charlotte team completed a dehumidifier circuit and outlet installation for Fresh Air Technologies in Charlotte, NC. Performed by Will Cruz on June 24, 2025, this Outlets & Switches service ensured the dehumidifier has safe, reliable power and a clean, permanent connection point. When a direct home-run path wasn’t feasible, we identified an alternative routing method, extended wiring through the crawlspace, and protected the exterior run in conduit through the brick.

Scope of work
- New circuit to dehumidifier location: Installed a dedicated power feed to serve the dehumidifier’s electrical needs and reduce the chance of nuisance tripping on shared circuits.
- Crawlspace diagnostic and extension: Inspected, tested, and analyzed existing electrical to determine a safe, practical route; when a straight home run wasn’t possible, we extended the new wiring through the crawlspace to reach the ideal outlet location.
- Conduit along brick and core drilling: Ran conduit neatly along the exterior brick and drilled through the brick to deliver a protected, durable pathway to the new outlet.
- System testing and verification: Completed diagnostics to confirm proper voltage, correct wiring methods, secure terminations, and reliable operation of the new receptacle.
