Whole-Home Rewiring in Cramerton, NC
Touchstone Electric completed a comprehensive whole-home rewire for a residence in Cramerton, NC, delivering a modern, code-compliant electrical system from service entrance to devices. Led by technician Christian Cedillos from our Charlotte team, the project included a new 200-amp indoor main panel, 200-amp meter base, upgraded feeders, new breakers, and full permitting and inspection.
The work was finalized on July 30, 2024, with careful planning to minimize disruption. When requested, we can provide temporary generator support for limited power during scheduled outages.

200A Indoor Main Panel Upgrade
We installed a new 200-amp aluminum indoor main panel and brought it up to current electrical code. The panel was properly grounded and bonded, existing circuits were reconnected, and clear circuit labeling was completed for ease of use and maintenance.

- 8 x 20A standard breakers

200A Meter Base and Service Improvements
To match the new 200A service, we replaced the exterior meter base and coordinated the power drop with the utility provider. Our team installed conduit from the new meter to the weatherhead, ran the service entrance conductors to the drip loop, and installed ground rods with grounding electrode conductors.
- Installed THHN 4/0 conductors to support high-capacity feeders
- Added 2-inch PVC conduit runs, mounted and secured as required
- Utility coordination, permitting, and inspection included
Together, these upgrades provide a safe, stable, and expandable service backbone, helping protect the home’s new wiring and devices.
