Cooktop Wiring and 30A Circuit Installation in Durham, North Carolina

Our Raleigh branch recently completed a professional cooktop wiring project for homeowner Kelly Gelinne in Durham, NC. Led by technician Cody Perry, the team installed a new dedicated 30-amp circuit and hardwired a customer-supplied cooktop, ensuring reliable power and safe operation for the kitchen island. Project Overview

To supply the new cooktop with the correct power, we ran 10/3 UF cable from the exterior electrical panel to the kitchen island using a combination of 3/4-inch PVC conduit and liquidtight flexible conduit for protection and durability. We then installed a new 30A double-pole breaker and completed a clean, secure hardwire connection at the island.
