Touchstone Electric’s Charlotte team completed a comprehensive bathroom wiring project for MUSE Residential in Charlotte on June 30, 2025. Led by technician Danny Bishop from our Matthews-based Charlotte branch, this job brought new, efficient lighting, safer switching, and a code-compliant power upgrade to a busy bathroom.

Scope of Work
- Switching upgrade: Converted an existing 2-gang switch box to a 3-gang switch box to provide dedicated, easy control for multiple bathroom functions.
- Shower fan/can combo: Furnished and installed a fan/light can combo in the shower area, placed on a switch and protected by GFCI for added safety in a wet location.
- Vanity lighting: Ran new wiring for a vanity light to deliver focused task illumination at the mirror.
- Ceiling lighting: Replaced an older recessed can with a new 6-inch LED wafer can for a sleek, energy-efficient overhead light that works well in tight ceiling spaces.
- Power where it’s needed: Installed a dedicated 20A circuit for the bathroom outlet to meet modern power demands and align with current electrical safety standards.
New wiring runs were neatly routed, secured, and terminated, and all devices were tested to confirm proper operation and protection.
