Project Overview
This service call focused on replacing two bathroom exhaust fans and relocating associated switches to improve usability. The customer supplied the fan units, and our electricians ensured everything was installed to code and integrated with the home’s existing electrical system.
- 2x Bathroom Exhaust Fans: Removed old housings, made clean drywall cuts, reworked the fan duct connections, and tied into the existing power source for each fan. Customer-supplied units were mounted securely and tested for proper airflow.
- Switch Relocation: Relocated the controls for the light and bath fan on the right side of the bedroom for easier access and better layout. Terminated the existing power line safely as part of the relocation.
- New Wiring: Installed approximately 20 ft of 14/2 NM-B Romex for the lighting/fan circuit. Our team carefully fished 20 ft of wire through finished areas to minimize wall disruption while maintaining code-compliant routing and protection.
- Junction Box and Tub Power Termination: Added a junction box and properly terminated power to the tub area to meet safety best practices.
- Return Visit: The initial visit identified readiness issues, so we scheduled a follow-up trip to complete the installation promptly and correctly.
