Bathroom Electrical Upgrade in Charlotte, NC

On November 19, 2024, our Charlotte branch completed a fully permitted bathroom electrical upgrade in Charlotte, NC for Precision Services Inc. The project was handled by technicians Patrick Burke, Gump Martin, Theo Coetsee, and Steve Goheen, delivering a safe, reliable, and tidy result.

Scope of work

Installed and supplied two dedicated 20-amp bathroom circuits for dependable capacity and fewer nuisance trips.
Added two GFCI receptacle outlets to improve safety around sinks and wet locations.
Installed two standard light switches for convenient, reliable control.
Mounted customer-supplied light fixtures, including a 2x4 ceiling fixture, on existing boxes/circuits.
Connected bathroom exhaust fans (customer-supplied units) and completed the electrical hookup for better moisture control and air quality.
Installed new special breakers in the panel to provide enhanced protection and satisfy current code requirements for the new bathroom circuits.
Secured and filed the electrical permit with the county and coordinated required inspections.

To achieve clean, durable, and professional runs, we installed approximately 250 feet of 1/2-inch EMT conduit and 300 feet of #12 THHN conductors, supporting the two new 20-amp circuits and device locations.
