Scope of work quoted
- Level 2 EV charger connection (50-amp, 240V): Customer-supplied EVSE, with either a dedicated receptacle or a hardwired connection completed during one visit, depending on charger requirements and code compliance.
- Electrical permit filing: Touchstone Electric will prepare and file the electrical permit with the county and coordinate the inspection process for a smooth, code-compliant installation.
- Wiring and materials: A dedicated 50-amp circuit using 6/3 NM-B cabling, plus PVC conduit with connectors and LB fittings as applicable. Any required junction box is included in the materials scope.
- Panel and breaker considerations: The breaker, separate disconnect, feeder upgrades, or service changes are not included in this estimate and will be quoted if load calculations or site conditions require them.
- Whole-home surge protection (optional add-on): A separate quote was provided for installing a surge protective device to help protect the entire home. Note that utility programs typically do not cover this equipment.
Proposed installation location: the garage, with neat, code-compliant routing from the electrical panel to the charger area and clear labeling of the new circuit.
