Why This Upgrade Matters for Harrisburg Homes
Modern homes often require more electrical capacity to power HVAC systems, EV chargers, workshops, spas, and the latest appliances. Upgrading the service to 200A with a 400A meter base provides flexibility for future additions while maintaining dependable day-to-day performance. By integrating surge protection and an enhanced grounding system, the homeowner gains a safer electrical system designed to reduce nuisance trips, improve fault clearing, and help protect valuable electronics during storms and utility events common in North Carolina.
Built to Code with Permits and Inspection
Every service upgrade we perform is driven by safety and compliance. For this Harrisburg project, our team handled the permitting process, performed the installation to current electrical code standards, and scheduled the final inspection. Proper conductor sizing, secure conduit runs, tight terminations, and accurate circuit labeling all contribute to a reliable system that’s easier to service and expand in the future.
