Scope of Work and Installed Equipment
Our Panels & Service Upgrades and Meter Base & Service Replacement experts delivered a turnkey solution that modernizes service capacity and boosts electrical safety:
- Installed customer-supplied 400A meter base to support future expansion and higher electrical demand.
- Supplied and installed a new 200A outdoor main panel with a service disconnect for safe, convenient access.
- New grounding system, including properly driven ground rods and bonding, for improved fault protection and code compliance.
- Whole-home surge protector to help safeguard sensitive electronics and HVAC equipment from voltage spikes.
- New 200A feeder wires and conduit routed between the existing panel and the new outdoor panel for a clean, robust installation.
- Clear labeling of existing meter cans and breakers to simplify maintenance and future troubleshooting.
- Permit submission and inspection scheduling with local authorities, ensuring the upgrade meets current electrical codes.
This project also included our Service Upgrade – 200A package, which covers ground rods, a surge protector, a service disconnect, and up to 25 feet of service wire, tailored to the needs of the Harrisburg home.
