Touchstone Electric completed a 30-amp breaker, dryer circuit, and major appliance hookup for a homeowner in Lewisville, NC. The work was performed on January 24, 2025 by technician Christian Cedillos from our Matthews branch, part of our Charlotte business unit. The goal was to provide safe, code-compliant power for a heavy-duty appliance with a properly sized 240V circuit and clean panel integration.

What We Installed

- NM‑B Romex 12/2 (approx. 50 ft): Installed 12/2 NM‑B to serve 20‑amp branch circuit needs associated with the appliance area and general‑use receptacle capacity, including any required junction box.
- Major appliance hookup (customer supplied): Connected the appliance via a dedicated receptacle or hard‑wired method per manufacturer guidance and local code, then confirmed correct operation on the new circuit.
Following installation, we verified secure terminations, correct breaker sizing, proper grounding and bonding practices, and clear circuit labeling for future reference.
