20A Dedicated Circuit & Outlet Install in Fuquay-Varina, NC

Touchstone Electric’s Raleigh branch completed a dedicated 20-amp circuit and outlet installation for an electric water heater in Fuquay-Varina, NC. On May 16, 2025, our technician, Jared Mata, ran a new circuit from the exterior electrical panel through the crawlspace and installed a properly rated receptacle to provide reliable, code-compliant power for the customer’s equipment.

What We Did

Planned a safe route from the exterior panel through the crawlspace to the water heater location.
Installed a 20-amp standard breaker and labeled the new circuit at the panel.
Pulled approximately 50 ft of 12/2 NM-B cable, with proper support, protection, and terminations.
Installed a standard 20A receptacle with cover at the designated location.
Performed function and safety checks, verified correct polarity and grounding, and confirmed proper breaker operation.

All work was completed with attention to craftsmanship and in alignment with current electrical best practices and local code requirements.
