200 Amp Service Upgrade & Panel Replacement in Gastonia, NC

Touchstone Electric’s Charlotte team, operating from our Matthews branch, completed a full 200 amp service upgrade and panel replacement for homeowner Myra Bullington in Gastonia, NC. Scope of Work Completed

200A meter/panel combo: Supplied and installed a new 200 amp meter/panel combination with breakers, riser, and feeder conductors for reliable service entry and distribution.
New grounding system: Installed a code-compliant grounding system to improve fault protection and overall electrical safety.
Whole-home surge protection: Added a surge protective device to help guard sensitive electronics and appliances from utility and lightning-related surges.
100A feeder installed: Pulled a dedicated 100 amp feeder to support a new subpanel for balanced load management.
100A indoor subpanel: Installed a new indoor subpanel with breakers to organize circuits and provide room for future expansion.
Bathroom light installation: Installed a new brace box and mounted a customer-supplied light fixture in the bathroom.
Closet outlet addition: Extended power from an existing bedroom circuit and installed a new outlet in the closet for added convenience.

Permitting was included where applicable. During a service upgrade, power is temporarily disconnected; upon request, Touchstone can make a generator available for limited power during the outage.
